The L’Osteria franchise chain is now optimizing its strategic purchasing with Sourcify.net. L’Osteria, the award-winning brand gastronomy, is known not only for its delicious giant pizzas but also for its wide range of Italian dishes and Mediterranean flair. The company manages the purchasing for around 120 restaurants in Germany and other European countries. Sourcify.net offers its customers from the hotel, catering and care industries a digital purchasing solution. The Business Intelligence Tool digitally covers all steps from tendering and ordering through incoming goods and invoice verification to materials management.
Tenders: Save a lot of time and money
The headquarters of L’Osteria in Munich will in future put the purchasing volume of all product groups of food & beverages, non-food and services out to digital tender via Sourcify.net. Stefan Höllen, director supply chain management and authorized signatory of FR L’Osteria GmbH, explains: “With Sourcify.net we save a lot of time in the entire tendering process and are therefore able to question our conditions more frequently”.

The tendering process with Sourcify.net is transparent and uniform, as the system invites suppliers to submit their bids digitally in a given format. The offers are then automatically compared and consolidated by Sourcify.net. Once the bid has been accepted, a contract can be created from the supplier’s bid that is securely and transparently documented on Sourcify.net.
Supplier management has never been easier!
L’Osteria’s supplier management is also considerably simplified with the multilingual tool. The central buyers invite potential and already listed suppliers to register independently on Sourcify.net and are thus relieved of this work step. Each supplier undergoes a digital qualification process, e.g. by specifying the company size, certificates or additional services. L’Osteria determines the necessary criteria for the qualification of suppliers according to its own needs. As soon as the supplier is registered and qualified, his data can easily be used for tenders or price enquiries.
With the contract management tool, contracts are stored centrally for each product group and can only be viewed by authorized users. The practical reminder function notifies the contract holder so that deadlines for renewal or renegotiation are no longer missed.
Through efficient and integrated reporting tools, the buyer always has a complete overview of all contracts, orders, expenses, savings, active and inactive suppliers and tenders. Necessary reports can be created with just a few clicks.
Sourcify.net platform was released for full integration by L’Osteria following a live test after the first tender. Stefan Höllen explains: “The introduction of the system was completed in just a few weeks, as it is intuitive to use, so that a single user training session was sufficient.
